Étienne Audet-Walsh, Judith Bellemare, Louis Lacombe, Yves Fradet, Vincent Fradet, Pierre Douville, Chantal Guillemette, and Éric Lévesque published their work entitled: "The Impact of Germline Genetic Variations in Hydroxysteroid (17-Beta) Dehydrogenases on Prostate Cancer Outcomes After Prostatectomy" in European Urology and had been the subject of an editorial as a platinum priority. Congratulations!

Judith Bellemare, Mélanie Rouleau, Mario Harvey, Ion Popa, Georges Pelletier, Bernard Têtu and Chantal Guillemette recently published their work entitled "Immunohistochemical expression of conjugating UGT1A-derived isoforms in normal and tumoral drug-metabolizing tissues in humans" published in Journal of Pathology. Congratulations for your good work!

For the Endocrinology and Genomics Research Axis and CREMOGH scientific meeting, the students invited the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine laureat Dr. Phillip A. Sharp for a presentation on RNA biology. The students had also the privilege to have a Q&A with Dr.Sharp.
For this journey all the students from the research center presented their work to the member of the Endocrinology and Genomics Research Axis and CREMOGH.
Members of LaboCG did great at the presentation competition and were awarded for the excellence of their work:
- Judith was awarded the best oral presentation and the people choice.
- Melanie was awarded the best poster presentation by a doctoral student.

Étienne Audet-Walsh, Johanie Lépine, Jean Grégoire, Marie Plante, Patrick Caron, Bernard Têtu, Pierre Ayotte, Jacques Brisson, Lyne Villeneuve, Alain Bélanger and Chantal Guillemette published their work entitled: "Profiling of endogenous Estrogens, Their Precursors, and Metabolites in Endometrial Cancer Patients: Association with Risk and Relationship to Clinical Characteristics." in Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism - good work everyone!

Joannie Roberge was awarded the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships from CIHR - Master's Awards and a FRSQ (Québec province) Graduate Scholarships (Master research award). Congratulations!

Étienne Audet-Walsh and Vincent Ménard won the first prize in the Health Sciences category at the Contest "Mon Idée" at Laval University on November 24. Good job guys !

Judith Bellemare, Mélanie Rouleau, Hugo Girard, Mario Harvey and Chantal Guillemette published their work entitled "Alternatively spliced products of the UGT1A gene interact with the enzymatically active proteins to inhibit glucuronosyltransferase activity in vitro" published in Drug Metabolism and Disposition. Nice work!

Judith had her final thesis defense examination october 14, 2010. She is now a Ph.D. and got her degree with Honors from the faculty of Pharmacy. Congratulations Dr. Bellemare !!!
